The Fairport School District serves a residential community of approximately 40,000 in the
Fairport-Perinton area located southeast of metropolitan Rochester. Community residents,
staff members, students, and the Board of Education are involved together in a continuing
effort to maintain and enhance the quality of the educational opportunities offered to all
students.
There is a climate of involvement with active support for quality education. The District
values and seeks opinions of all members of the community through advisory councils,
review groups, and public meetings. Recent topics include the annual budget, academic
standards, and shared decision-making. Ongoing commitment to the educational program is
evident in community support and participation. |
